It’s all about the details
As the year draws to a close, many people turn their thoughts to spending time with families and friends. The KPUNKT team is no different. But since we’re such a diverse bunch, everyone has their own special way of celebrating, reflecting on the last 12 months, and looking forward to 2018.
Our 2017 snowglobe card provides a glimpse of the varied personalities behind KPUNKT and some insights into what makes the company tick. But you need to look carefully to spot everything!
KPUNKT people hail from all over the world. If you look in the left corner of the card, you’ll see a koala, representing one of our farthest-flung employees, Vanessa Keller. Vanessa won’t be spending Christmas Down Under this year, but we hope this furry little fellow will make her feel at home in Germany – where she’ll be swapping surfboards for sledges and BBQ for Braten.
This cute little house looks like a cosy place to curl up for the holidays – at least that’s what the cat thinks. And several of our KPUNKT employees will be joining him. Cat-loving KPUNKT-ers Ellen and Vanessa Cisz are looking forward to sharing their festivities with family, friends and felines.
Who ate all the mince pies? That has to be James and Anna! Christmas in the UK isn’t complete without turkey, Christmas pudding and mince pies. And both of our resident Brits are making flying visits to Blighty to tuck in to these and other seasonal specialties.
Above the door on this festive cottage, you’ll have noticed the pretzel or Brezel, a tasty and popular break-time snack for our German colleagues. The birthplace of Brezels happens to be Stuttgart – which is also the birthplace of KPUNKT and where lots of our team will be spending their holidays.
A major plus for KPUNKT is our location in two European cities. The Brezel on the door symbolizes Stuttgart and our German roots. But we couldn’t do business without our counterparts over in the Netherlands – which is why there’s a vase of tulips brightening up the room.
Who’s that behind the red tree? Man or beast? If only we knew! It’s our very own yeti Sander. The newly-wed graphic designer has got a lot to celebrate this year. But will a beard trimmer be on his wishlist or is he giving Santa a run for his money?
That’s not just any old dog, it’s Paolo – our Stuttgart office pooch. He’ll be spending the holiday season running around in circles, laying about on the couch and eating. In fact, his plans are not too different from the rest of his year (and surprisingly similar to those of his human colleagues in some cases).
These are just a few snapshots of our greetings card and the little details and idiosyncrasies that make KPUNKT unique. Of course, there are many other ways to spend the season, whether you’re celebrating Christmas or not. But whatever you choose to do, we wish you happy holidays and all the best for 2018!
